Building hospitals is an important task, but building
doctors who would work in is a much more important one. Discovering a new
treatment is a break through, but without training doctors to use it, the whole
point ends up to nothing. Finding a new scientific fact is exciting, but
teaching people how to benefit from this fact is what humanity really needs.
FOCUS is an initiative of established, yet young, doctors
who decided to devote a share of their efforts to spread the knowledge and more
importantly, the skills among their colleagues.
FOCUS depends on the fresh methodology of self-learning
rather than lecturing, sharing knowledge instead of teaching and training your
hands and mind to be an able doctor as an alternative to training you to be a
good student.
