practical situations that may face freshly graduates. The course covered the
following topics: a start with a brief history of surgery which trying to
highlight the main hinders that faced surgeons along ages till they mastered
their craft. Then the course took the trainees on a tour to get to know the
tools used in this noble craft, which are instruments, needles & suture

techniques. Finally trainees experienced a more sophisticated surgical skill:
bowel anastomosis. All sessions were designed to be trainee friendly,
interactive, practical, and depending on self-learning.
