MSRG results of short listing

Dear applicants for Medical Students Research Grants

We recieved 156 applications for joining the MSRG, of them 29 were applying for the paid course, those will be contacted by phone in the next few days to inform them about the details of subscribing and paying process as we will accept the first 20 who will register and pay the fees.

The other 127 applicants were joing the scholarship program. We processed them as follows:
Each one of the FOCUS trainers selected 30 candidates independently based on the data of the application form. Each candidate was assigend to group A if was selected by the 3 trainers, group B if was selected by 2 trainers, C by only 1 trainers and D if was not selected by any trainer. The result of the selection process was as follows

Group A: 15 candidates, B: 14 , C: 16 and D: 82

The 29 candidates of groups A and B will be invited for interview this week (emails and phone contact foe the details) and the final selection will be the 15 winners of the scholarship. Congratulations for the selected candidates and best wishes during the interviews.

Other applicatants who did not make it so far, we were really happy to recieve your applications and we wished if we could accept you all but we are bounded by the limited number of slots due to logistic reasons. We will organize another round of the MSRG hopefully soon and all of you will be considered applicants with higher priority. We will contact you then to ensure that you are still interested in taking the course and the Grant. Best wishes
