Dear MSRG participants, This is our call for proposals to compete for the 3 research grants offered by Society of Care and Friends of Gastroenterology Patients (SCFGP). The deadline of submitting your proposals is on 31/7/2014. All eligible proposals will be evaluated by FOCUS team and SCFGP in order to choose the 3 winners. The names of the winners will be announced in a closure event of the MSRG on the first half of August 2014, also in this event all of the below listed names will receive their certificates in addition to the first part of the grant (500 LE) for the 3 winners.
Rules to apply for the grant:
1- You must be one of the participants who completed the training course of the MSRG with previously mentioned criteria of scores and presence in the courses sessions. You can look up your name in the list below.
2- You can submit only one proposal either alone or with a team.
3- A team of maximum 3 participants can submit a joint proposal but they must state who is the PI (principle investigator).
4- Submit your proposal to focus4courses@gmail.com before midnight 31/7/2014. Any proposals received beyond this date will not be evaluated. Titles and investigators names of the accepted proposals for evaluation will be announced on our website on 2/8/2014.
5- You must write the proposal according to the instructions given in the proposal template. All section must be completed in this template. incomplete proposals will not be evaluated.

Criteria of evaluation of the proposals
1- The idea of research have a clear benefit to our society.
2- Clinical (in any field of medicine) and sociological researches are considered equally.3- Applicability of the research proposal within the limited fund.
4- Researches with bigger budget could be accepted if the candidate explained how he could cover the rest of the required fund. approval of joint fund should be stated if there is another funding parties.
5- Reasonable timeline, all work should be completed between 1 and 3 months after the closure event of the MSRG.
